Skillful and respected for developing product positioning, brand and marketing strategies for specialty brands which frequently require striking a balance between clear expression of the clinical/scientific promise and cultivating insights to the emotional drivers of Healthcare Professional, Payor and Patient/Consumer audiences. Client experience spans biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostic and device companies and organizations performing clinical research and delivering patient care. Covered in TechCrunch, and invited as a presenter at Health 2.0 conferences to speak on the use of bidirectional SMS texting and digital based technologies to engage patients and healthcare consumers, he won a Health Developer Challenge sponsored by Lucile Packard Foundation and was assigned a Delta Health Alliance Beacon project for a diabetes program using SMS texting in the Mississippi Delta region. He served as National Strategy Chair for the American Liver Foundation and on their board of directors for Northern California.
In his spare time he is an avid sailor and participates in the Northern California PHRF YRA racing series.
